If you need to cancel, you must contact danielle@bookisheventsmi.com at least 120 days before the event.Paid-in-full tickets: You may receive a 75% event credit (for a future retreat) if you cancel at least 120 days in advance.Payment plans not paid in full: No credit or refund is provided—all payments made are forfeited, and you remain responsible for the full balance.Tickets are transferable up to 90 days before the event. You can use the Facebook group transfer thread to find a buyer and potentially recover your full cost. Bookish Retreats can also assist in finding someone for the transfer of the ticket (less 20% for processing and administration fees).No credits or transfers are allowed within 90 days of the event. No refunds are given for late arrival, early departure, or any other circumstances. No exceptions are made for any reason.Please refer to our cancellation policy for more information.

Can I share a room with a friend and where would I provide this information?

Absolutely! During registration, you’ll have the option to indicate who you’re attending with. As long as you both select the same room and bed type and space is available, you will be placed together.

Do people attend solo?

All the time! We have people attend solo, with a friend, and sometimes in small groups. Solo travelers are encourgaed and embraced with open arms. the majority of our attendees attend their first event solo.

Are the activities mandatory?

Nope! Each retreat is thoughtfully curated based on the location, time of year, and attendees. We offer a variety of optional activities, including tours, book swaps, and group meals. Participation is completely up to you, and you are free to spend your time however you wish. While activities are a great way to connect with other attendees, they are never required.

Is travel from the airport included?

You are responsible for your own travel accomodations to and from the airport. For each retreat, we have a group chat pirior where attendees try to travel together once at the aiport.

Do you accommodate for food allergies?

Yes! No matter the retreat you are on, we strive to select restaurants and create meals with all allergies in mind.

Will I get to know other attendees prior?

Yes! We have a private discord group compelte with a group chat, itinerary, important announcements etc that is active once the retreat goes live.
