The Itinerary
DAY 1:
Meet in York (location + time TBA) for private transportation to the hotel and enjoy dinner at the hotel, mingle and get to know each other + mini book exchange in lounge.
DAY 2:
Explore the castle grounds, enjoy afternoon high tea, and relax by the indoor poll
DAY 3:
Day trip to York - Explore the 15 bookstores, local shops, pubs and much more
DAY 4:
Spend the day as you wish and get ready for our cocktails + nibbles event.
DAY 5:
Last breakfast at the castle before we take our private transfer to York so we can catch our train to Edinburgh!
DAY 6:
Enjoy the day exploring Edinburgh, a guided tour of the Edinburgh Castle, and finish the evening off with a group dinner.

Activity Breakdown
Edinburgh Experience
Enjoy a two night stay at a 3 star hotel in Edinburgh. We will tour the Edinburgh Castle, a group dinner on the second night, and
High Tea at the hotel
We will enjoy high tea at the castle hotel one afternoon, complete with scrumptious bites and a variety of tea choices.
York Day Trip
After our private transfer brings us to the quaint town of York, we will explore the 15 local bookstores, pursue the stores, and enjoy a meal at local restaurants (besides breakfast at the castle, meals are not included this day).
The Cave Castle Hotel
Situated in the lovely town of South Cave, this stunning castle dates back to the 11th century. It features many amenities including a sauna, large swimming pool, steam room, a gym, two restaurants, and two bars/lounges as well as beautiful gardens and grounds.
Cocktails + Nibbles Night
Be sure to pack that cocktail attire because we will be having a private meal in the banquet room, complete with a cash bar and a buffet style dinner.
Please note: all breakfasts are included for the duration of your stay (7), along with 4 dinners at the Cave Castle Hotel, 1 group dinner at restaurant in Edinburgh, and the activities listed. Lunches are not included, nor is airfare or transportation from your airport to York. Transportation that is included: private transfer from York to Cave Castle Hotel, transfer from hotel to York and back for day trip, transfer from hotel to York for departure to Edinburgh, and train ticket from York to Edinburgh (seats are not guaranteed to be next to one another)

The hotel we are staying at in London will ONLY have shared twin bed rooms available for the two nights. Shared Bed means you share the same bed with another attendee. This is priced per person, not per room.
